Understanding which coating is right for a project is a critical step in the design stage - where price, aesthetic and performance become the key factors for specifying the building envelope.
Our design and technical expertise can help guide you through the process, where the "objective and location" are considered. Aggressive & corrosive environments, coastal projetcs, high snow load or altitude issues can be overcome with the correct primary material and subsequent fixings.
The main three finishes which are widely available are
Plastisol,
Polyester and
Prisma / Spectrum / HDX Granite (all refer to a different manufacturer, yet provide a similar coating) - With each having it's benefits towards price, durability and colour selection.
Our guide below is only a small selection of the colours and finishes available, with most of the colour selectors available from our Downloads page.

Plastisol coatings offer up to a 30 year material warranty and are the most commonly used finish for industrial cladding systems. A leathergrain embossment helps with water dispersement and blends distortions by reducing glare.
Offering a lower cost point to other products and has a satin gloss finish. Polyester has an expected service life of 10 years until first maintenance, yet does not provide any material warranty.
Metallics and non-standard colours utilise a specialist coating with a granular texture, with warranties up to 40 years in some cases. The finish disipates light exceptionally well and adds depth to the building envelope.
